    Carlos Ariza Matos

    Hello! My name is Carlos Ariza Matos and I’m a junior studying Business Analytics and Psychology. I’m originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic but I called Zahm House my home when I lived on campus. Besides working for International Admissions, I’m the Technology Director for the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) and participate in the Student International Business Council (SIBC). My hobbies include CrossFit, baking, reading and watching movies as well as spending time with my loved ones. Notre Dame has profoundly changed my life for the better. I’ve not only grown and developed as a professional but also as a human being. Deciding if Notre Dame is the place for you is definitely not an easy nor straightforward decision, so feel free to reach out to me with any and all questions you might have about life as an international student in lovely South Bend. I’m absolutely thrilled to get to know more about you and about what your additions to the community here at Notre Dame will be! Go Irish!

    Hi everyone! My name is Isabella Camacho and I am currently a sophomore at Notre Dame from Bogotá, Colombia. I am double-majoring in Marketing and Philosophy, with a minor in Collaborative Innovation. To let you know a little bit about me and my experience at Notre Dame, I would like to start by mentioning this has been the best decision I have made. I am able to challenge myself academically every day which is something I enjoy. I am studying what I am passionate about and think something special about this University is how motivating and helpful the community is. From professors to classmates, amongst more, Notre Dame is really full of amazing people that make up a very special community. I have also met some of the people I now call my family and feel extremely fortunate for these introductions, as I am also eager to meet more people. A couple of my favorite traditions on campus are 1) going to the Grotto; this is a very special place and I love being able to go all the time and reflect, think, pray, not think, etc. 2) also I love football season, I admire and enjoy the presence of school spirit, as I think it makes all Notre Dame students close no matter the differences of background. We all join and love the place we are fortunate to be in, and you can feel that at the games and especially in this season. I am also involved with the Marketing Club and other organizations that allow me to explore my passions. I could name so much more, and as a result, please do not hesitate in reaching out to me for any questions, doubts, or even to just have a conversation. I look forward to getting to know you!

    Hello! My name is Tamima Levinsohn Mourad and I’m a Senior studying Psychology and Spanish and minoring in Business Economics. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil but I grew up in São Paulo. I currently live off campus, but when I lived on campus I lived in Farley Hall. Apart from working for International Admissions, I am very involved in the Notre Dame Club of Brazil and EduClub. I love spending time outdoors and I can be found playing volleyball on North Quad, studying by the lake, taking pictures of the dome, lighting up a candle at the grotto or talking about how much I love Notre Dame. My hobbies include playing instruments, baking, watching soccer and spending time with my family/friends. Notre Dame has changed my life in so many ways and committing to this school was by far the best decision I have ever made. Deciding where you’ll spend the next four years of your life may not be easy, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to talk more about ND.     Hello! I’m Regina Zavala, originally from Monterrey, Mexico and I’m currently a senior double majoring in Finance and Economics. During my freshman and sophomore years I lived in Welsh Family Hall, but I moved to an apartment off campus starting my junior year. Although I don’t live on campus anymore, I’ve tried to stay as involved as possible through different clubs and organizations in addition to my classes. I was part of the Student International Business Council for three years and I got to travel to Chicago with them several times. I’m also the current president of the Association of Latino Professionals for America and I work as an admissions assistant for the Office of International Admissions. Regardless of how busy my day is I always try to find some time to go for a run, it really helps me clear my head! I love all races from 5k’s to half marathons (and hopefully full marathons soon). I also enjoy spending quality time with my friends whether it be by walking around campus, getting dinner together, or simply studying with them. These past years I’ve received from Notre Dame much more than I could’ve ever hoped for; it’s given me an exceptional education, amazing friends and a new place I can call home. I’m always looking forward to meeting prospective students so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or even if you just want to talk!
